The Ask

ØNSK is a Copenhagen-based, Certified B Corporation importing and roasting coffee directly from small-scale farmers in Nicaragua and Peru.

As they prepared to expand beyond Denmark, they needed a consistent, global-ready voice across website, newsletter, blog, and social — plus a social media strategy that could scale with new markets. The goal was to build trust and authority in sustainable coffee through clear product storytelling, long-form education, and campaigns designed to grow attention and community over time.

Strategic Insight

To expand to global B2B and B2C audiences, copy has to be simple, credible, and built to travel, but it also has to protect brand authenticity. 

In a niche sector that’s crowded with competitors, a distinct voice (and consistent proof points) is what makes the brand feel real, differentiated, and worth following.

The Approach

Working closely with the Danish team, I shaped a distinct English brand voice and built a content system designed to travel across markets and mediums without losing ØNSK’s tone. 

I wrote long-form blog content that positions ØNSK as a credible voice in sustainable specialty coffee, grounding stories in their direct relationships with farmers and the craft behind each coffee. 

Across channels, sustainability and quality stayed central: not as a slogan, but as the thread connecting product copy, education, and ongoing storytelling.

Result

A clearer, more scalable content and brand voice system that’s consistent across web, newsletter, long-form content, and social.
